$SPARKLET Warz Season 2 launched on March 20th and runs until March 27th at 9 AM PT, offering eligible Upland players a fresh chance to join one of three factions, compete for rewards, and engage in tactical battles on a new battleground with real-time strategic events.
The Web3 metaverse Upland has rolled out $SPARKLET Warz Season 2, inviting eligible players to earn token rewards while exploring new features in this dynamic play-to-earn event.
In $SPARKLET Warz, Upland players team up within one of three factions to dominate a virtual city. The faction with the highest score by season’s end claims a 200K $SPARKLET token prize pool, distributed based on individual contributions to the tactical effort.
Season 2 introduces a slew of updates: a new battleground, fresh events, new weapons and ornaments, refined kart mechanics, and a mysterious bonus prize. The new battleground shifts the fight to Las Vegas, where real-time dynamic events offer timed challenges for bonus points, including neighborhood-based boosts or penalties.
The primary way to rack up points is by placing faction ornaments on structures, with point values varying by structure type. These ornaments are reusable across future seasons. New weapons—offensive and defensive map assets—add strategic depth, letting players protect their faction’s score or sabotage rivals, all while maintaining balanced power levels.
Kart mechanics have been tweaked: Season 2 karts now strip 50% of a structure’s points, while Season 1 karts remove just 25%. The Queensridge neighborhood is excluded this season, as it’s fully owned by a single player.
A new bonus prize remains under wraps—a surprise incentive for players who switch factions and win with their new team. Details will be revealed when the season concludes.
$SPARKLET Warz Season 2 began on March 20th at 9 AM PT and ends on March 27th at 9 AM PT. Participation requires an exclusive $SPARKLET Warz Pass, limited to 175 per faction—down from 200 last season.
Season 1 players got a 24-hour whitelist window to snag the $5 pass before the public sale opened on March 19th at 9 AM PT. The three factions—Purge Pirates, Cypher Cyborgs, and Krypto Knights—return with a $13 bundle option, including two random NFTs (e.g., ornaments, map assets, or karts) specific to your chosen faction.
Faction winners earn $SPARKLET tokens, with amounts tied to leaderboard rank. The top three players in the winning faction receive an exclusive $SPARKLET Warz badge, while faction-switchers who win unlock the mystery bonus rewards, to be unveiled post-season.
